This was supposed to be a photo from our FCC CNY event, but E woke up this morning with a low-grade fever, and complaining that she was extremely tired. I had volunteered to help set up for the CNY event and to fetch food from the restaurant, so we went just long enough to get that done and pack a couple of take-out boxes with food. I'm going to see what I can pull together to do our own little celebration tomorrow night. And I'm really hoping my poor pitiful little girl is feeling better tomorrow.

Day 24 - Best Laid Plans

I had volunteered to help set up for the CNY event and to fetch food from the restaurant, so we went just long enough to get that done and pack a couple of take-out boxes with food. I'm going to see what I can pull together to do our own little celebration tomorrow night. And I'm really hoping my poor pitiful little girl is feeling better tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteThis has happened to us the last 2 years in a row. In 2007 Tim's dad was having brain surgery and last year Kai was very sick. This year I decided not to pre-purchase tickets to the FCC Midwest celebration because I hated wasting the money. We are still planning on attending on the 8th of Feb. but we will just pay at the door. Hope she is feeling well soon.
