This morning, as we were getting ready to head to the grocery store, H stops dead in her tracks and says, "Mom -- what day is it?" Me: "It's the 17th." H: "IT'S THE BOOK SALE!" And then the girls did a little happy dance. The library's used book sale takes place about once a quarter, and we never miss it. The girls are so excited to walk out with a stack of books, and I love seeing them excited about books -- especially when it costs me only about $5. :)

Book sales, better than an ice cream shoppe around here!! Glad you remembered before it was too late.
ReplyDeleteFabulous! I'm so glad to hear they are great readers. I loved to read as a child.
ReplyDeleteI love to hear about kids excited about books, even if I'm jealous I didn't get to go to the book sale! That beats mall shopping any day for us!
ReplyDeleteI love book sales...I've loved them all of my life and now is no exception. The kids know that they can get almost unlimited books when Mommy is at a book sale!
